Ms Kay Pang Ker-Wei
Ms Kay Pang is an attorney with 25 years of expertise in IT, Corporate and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance).
She currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at global cloud computing company VMware Inc, overseeing compliance across the US, LATAM, EMEA and Asia, providing strategic direction, and managing regulatory affairs and investigations. In addition to serving on the board of Nera Telecommunications Ltd, where she chairs the Remuneration and Nomination Committees and contributes as a member of the Audit Committee, she is also a board member and honorary legal advisor to the Singapore Heart Foundation. She has previously served on the boards of Passerelles Numeriques, Breast Cancer Foundation and AWWA Ltd.
Prior to her role at VMware, Ms Pang served as Asia Legal Head with Cloudera Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. She also practiced as a corporate lawyer with Drew & Napier LLC and Shook Lin & Bok LLC in Singapore.
Her expertise in risk identification and management in high-performing businesses, coupled with extensive experience in VUCA business dynamics, allows her to offer invaluable guidance to boards as they navigate challenges in change management, digital transformation, M&A, governance and more.
Ms Pang is qualified as a Barrister-at-law in England and an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore, and is an accomplished alumna of the University of Sheffield, Cardiff University, and the National University of Singapore. She also attained prestigious business and governance certifications from INSEAD, Stanford, MIT, Oxford University and the Singapore Institute of Directors.
